Chaos Engineering Practices in Kubernetes
“I had a problem with scalability so I used K8S, now I have many problems!”
Do you have any hypothesis to find out what is wrong if your microservices are breaking down suddenly? Do you practice your potential network problems in the live? Are emergency plans ready in case you face unpredictable situations?
Since the starting of 2010, Chaos Engineering disciplines are the center of our universe. We have obtained many different solutions through huge companies such as Netflix, Google, Twilio, etc. focusing on these disciplines. I would like to present how to create real problems and how to be ready for them in K8S with some of these solutions.
I completed my master’s degree in Computer Engineering at Okan University. I have over 10 years of experience in different business models such as media, banking, integration and education. Between 2010 and the end of 2012 I have worked for Bilge Adam IT Group as a Software Developer/Consultant about .NET technologies. From 2012 to 2015 I was in Lynx S.p.A as a Developer and developed banking and insurance applications for global customers. Between 2015 and 2019, I worked for different companies such as Hürriyet, KoçSistem, and Demirören Technology to organize SDLC processes, migrations from traditional to cloud-native apps and manage DevOps operations. Now, I have been working as a Software Development Manager at Rasyotek. We are providing digital solutions about HR operations for the customers. At the same time, I am delivering lectures on Web Programming with Python, Digital Media and Marketing at Kültür University.
