Exploring the Interaction Between Data Science and Software Testing

What I learned as a part-time Software Testing specialist in Munich, where I went for my Master’s degree in 2009, has benefited many different sectors throughout my career. At the point I have come to after 14 years, I stand up for the necessity of learning the basics of quality management in technology companies regardless of role.
In this talk, we will discuss, for example, the fundamental similarities, common factors and challenges between the seemingly distant Data Science and Software Testing specialties, and how they can benefit from each other and how this interaction may change in the future.

Ferit graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a High Honor degree, and then completed the Computer Sciences master’s program at Munich Technical University as a TEV-DAAD scholar. Prior to Sigortam.net, he worked as Project Manager / Analytical Specialist at McKinsey & Company.
