Next Generation QA: Code Quality and Analysis

The code you’ll be working on as a developer or as an automation engineer, most likely was/is/will be worked on by another software engineer. The constant collaboration between developers through code requires the code to be presentable, clean and intelligible; and to make it that way, they’ll have to use code quality practices, which this session is going to be about. In addition to code quality discipline and best practices, we will also be talking about static analysis; the importance of it, how to integrate it to the process of development and how to perform it on written code. There will also be a session activity where we’ll be using SonarQube on a prepared code to detect code smells, bugs and vulnerabilities, so it’s advised for you to bring your laptops if you’d like to participate.
