Udemy is the leading global marketplace for teaching and learning, connecting millions of students to the skills they need to succeed. We have 35M learners, 57K Instructors and 130K courses. For a company of this number of users and variety of courses, the tracking and reporting of Production Failures and gathering data from these reports is very important. As the division of Test Automation Engineering, we enabled a new Process for Production Failures which I will speak aboutat TestIstanbul 2020. The presentation will briefly contain the following information:
- Difficulties in tracking and reporting of Production Failures and how we overcame it.
- Process details and what we have gained in this way.
- What types of metrics did we collect and how did we interpret them? What benefits have we provided?
About Bilal Çolak
Bilal Çolak has been working in Software Testing since 2013. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Math from Hacettepe University, Ankara.He has ISTQB Foundation and ISTQB Agile Tester certificates. He worked on NATO – Air Command Control System Project for ATOS as a Test Engineer. He worked on Telecommunication Projects for Innova as a Test Consultant. Bilal currently works at Udemy, as Senior Test Automation Engineer and is responsible for the External QA Team in Ukraine. Also he is implementing different processes for the teams.
